Pancakes

Today, I was watching a Tasty (BuzzFeed) video on pancakes and I couldn't stop craving pancakes. Eventually, I gave in and made pancakes with scrambled eggs. I would just like to say, that when breakfast food is eaten during other random times of the day, it tastes even yummier.

When I first started baking, my parents didn't like it so much. Why? They had to wash pans, bowls, whisks, and wipe the table numerous times after I was done, all for an overly sweet, burnt, product. Eventually, I had to learn to wash the equipment myself. Cleanup is the hardest and most time-consuming part of baking for me. If you are a young baker just like me, here are a few tips...

 Number one, immediately after you are done with an ingredient put it away (especially eggs!) immediately after use. Number two, when you are done using a bowl, you don't have to wash it immediately, just soak it in warm water so later when you go back, the batter won't be hard to wash off. Number three, always have a few wet paper towels nearby because spills WILL happen and sometimes you need to handle it within seconds or else it gets a lot worse. Number 4, always turn the mixer on low first, there have been so many times I crank it up and batter flies everywhere. Anyways, I don't know if these are helpful, but it took me many messes to finally learn these tips. Don't give up even when everything is hard!
